You will enjoy working in the digital/tech sector and will enjoy working with potential clients to understand their needs and formulate and articulate development solutions that can help solve their real-world challenges.


You’ll need to identify new business opportunities and build relationships with potential and established clients. You’ll be responsible for both outbound business generation through proactive targeting of future clients, whilst growing leads that come into the business.


As the role entails first line contact with clients and new business, it’s important that you can quickly understand what we do, how we do it and why that makes us special.


You’ll be discussing project ideas with clients ranging from large multinationals to ambitious SMEs, so it’s important that you talk with confidence and enthusiasm about creative, and often technically complex digital solutions to find the solutions that best fit their needs.

You’ll have great ideas, a flexible and proactive attitude and an understanding of what makes a great digital project.

Person Specification

  • A strategic thinker who understands our business, our markets and our clients.

  • Great enthusiasm and knowledge of digital technology, with an ability to understand client needs and articulate how digital solutions can be applied to address them.

  • An understanding of how to successfully present and market digital development services

  • Experience in devising and implementing successful business development strategies withing a creative industry

  • Someone who can analyse market trends and customer needs to identify growth opportunities

  • A skills communicator and writer with the ability to craft great original copy and stories (without the assistant of AI!)

  • A strong relationships builder – someone who cultivates great client and team relationships.

  • Essential skills and requirements

  • Proven, successful business development experience, ideally in the tech/digital sector

  • Strong understanding of digital solutions with the ability to articulate value to diverse audiences

  • Excellent written skills with the ability to write captivating proposals and tender responses

  • Self-organisational skills including the ability to successfully balance many different projects and priorities

  • An understanding of online marketing and social media strategy

  • Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to represent in front of clients, at events or networking.
